Cayden's 3rd Birthday

Cayden turned 3 years old yesterday. I can't believe how time flies. Cayden is a busy little boy and loves to get into things and loves to get dirty. He has so much energy I can't keep up with him most of the time. He loves to wrestle with his brother and dad and one of his favorite things is to feed the horses with grandpa Julander. He has a fascination with tractors and trailers. Every truck needs to have a trailor. He loves to go to work with his mom and eat chocolate. He is a very special boy and we are glad he is a part of our family.

Cayden could not leave the tractor on the cake alone. He kept pushing it more and more into the cake. I told him he couldn't have the tractor until everyone got here for the party and sang Happy Birthday to him. He immediately started singing "Happy Brithday to me" and then went to go grab the tractor. He is so funny.

I finally did give in and let him take the tractor off. As you can tell in the picture the tractor is in his hands and not on his cake when we sang Happy Birthday.

We gave Cayden a wagon for his birthday. I have always wanted to buy one for our kids but they have always wanted other things for their birthdays. I knew Cayden would like it because he could hook it onto his Jeep and use it as a trailor.

We have such great support from our families. It makes me feel very blessed to have everyone close by. We had a house full of family to help us celebrate Cayden's Birthday. Thanks to everyone that came and for the gifts.

Jason's Team Won the Go Kart Race

Team 1280 The Zone Champs

(Jason is the third one from the left)

Team 1280 Champs: L-R Zone Girl Tyna, John Lund, P1 Jason, P1 Derrek, Kelly Kaye, P1 Randall; In Kart Kevin Graham
The Ass-ociated Press
Tooele—In what is being called one of the biggest upsets in racing if not sports history, Team 1280 The Zone led by leader and race anchor Kevin Graham overcame adversity to rally to win the Miller Motorsports Park Media Endurance Go Kart Championship Saturday.
“It’s just what this country needs right now,” Graham said. “A team they can rally behind. A team in these tough trying times came together to show what can happen when you persevere, work hard and stay focused. The American Dream is still alive and well.”
The adversity began when John “I drive worse than a 88 year old woman” Lund drove the team from their 3rd qualifying position to dead last after several spin outs and just overall slow driving. “I did have some issues out there,” said Lund. “I guess I shouldn’t have gone out drinking the night before.”
P1’s Jason, Derrek and Randall each then drove methodically and strategically to get Team 1280 back into the race. By the time it got to Graham’s turn at the wheel, the team had gone from last, four laps down, to third just a lap off the pace. “I couldn’t have been more proud of the P1’s for putting us back in the race and cleaning up after John’s mess,” said Graham. “I guess that is no different in what they do for him every morning via text and calls.”
That’s when Graham took over. Showing a display of courage and determination that may never ever be seen in racing again, Graham quickly got the lap back and then proceeded to pass the field again to take the checkered flag but didn’t realize the flag was for him. “I was pulling up to the side of the X96 car when the beautiful Kelly Kaye waived the flag but I thought it was for them, not me,” said Graham. “Figures. We win the race and I didn’t even know it until I pulled into pit lane. Then we partied like it was 1999!” Team Comcast finished second 37.137 seconds off the pace. X96 was third a lap behind.
As for the future for Team 1280 The Zone, they will defend their title in two weeks without Graham who will be on his midlife crisis Harley trip but he feels confident the team will do well. “Our sales manager Kurt Thomas will take my spot and while he’s no Kevin Graham (HONK) we will be fine as long as we find someone to replace John.” Meanwhile after this stunning victory a book is in the works and Disney has contacted Graham about making this feel good story into a movie. “Just living the dream,” says Graham, “And making it rain!”
Jason is so proud of his trophy he won. I wish I could have went and watched him. I didn't have anyone to watch the kids.

Go Kart Racing

Yesterday Jason won a contest on 1280 the Zone Sports radio station. He had to go down to the studio today and play Mario Kart on the Wii against other winners. He won and now he gets to go race go karts down at Miller Motor Sports Park in the morning. He is way excited. This is the second time he has got to go down there and race. Last time he won a chance to race for a brand new mustang. He had a lot of fun last time but was disappointed he didn't win the car.

Stuck in the Car Pool Lane

Yesterday I decided I was so hungry I could eat a cow. I needed beef. So I headed off to McDonalds with Cayden to get me a quarter pounder. (my weakness lately). Anyways I dripped ketchup all over my shirt. I had to get home to go get the kids from school and had a little time so I decided to run into the house and grap a new shirt. Thank goodness I did. I pulled up to the school a little early and turned off the car it has been squealing lately. The bell rings finally and I go to start the car and it doesn't start. I am the second car in line. The teacher has to direct everyone around me. So embarrassing. Someone tries to give me jump and the car does nothing. Anyways a half hour later it just starts. What the freak. I don't know what is wrong with it. I hate vehicles.

Kelsey's 11th Birthday

I can't believe I am old enough to have an 11 year old.

Kelsey got a digital camera for her birthday.

She had 6 of her friends over for a sleepover party. I wasn't really looking forward to it because I have been so tiered. After worked I had no energy and a messy house. I called Jason bawling. He called my mom to see if she could come help me. My mom came over and cleaned up my house before the party. Thank goodness for mom's.

The girls did have a lot of fun. This is a picture of Kelsey playing the digging for lifesaver in flour game. I used to play this when I was a kid. The girls loved it . They pushed each others faces in. They actually made me do it too. Flour does not taste good or feel good up your nose I decided. The girls stayed up until 4:00 am. I bet they are all grouchy today.

My 3:00 a.m. Project

Last night I had the worst night sleep, well not the worst I guess it is pretty normal lately to only get a few hours of sleep a night. Usually I just stay in bed, but I was restless and so I got up and cleaned Cayden's room. I totally gutted it out, closet and everything. You couldn't even walk in there before. I wish I would have took a before picture. Hopefully he doesn't notice that he doesn't have as many toys in his room..

Where is Cayden you ask? In my bed Arrghh...... Still haven't won that war. How did I ever get pregnant?

Just Want to Feel Normal

I am turning into a whiny pregnant lady. I don't remember it being this rough. My legs hurt my stomach hurts and I just don't feel good. Chase reminds me daily how fat I am getting. He is a tell it how it is kind of boy. If I try and lay down and rest I just get restless. There is so much to do. I can't wait to just be back to normal. I miss running, I miss my old clothes (which Kelsey has been wearing my shirts, rubbing it in my face that they don't fit me anymore). My kids are so nice to me. I have to call my dog fat to make me feel better.

Busy Busy Little Boys

I thought girls were harder because they are so emotional, but my two little trouble makers are changing my mind. It seems like every time I turn around they are doing something. Boys are so busy. Chase wakes up really early and from the moment I come out of my room he has some story, invention, new idea to make money, or something to say. It is exhausting. Ok like just now he came in and said he has an invention for jumping shoes. It was likie a 5 minute story. I don't think his little brain ever takes a rest.

Oh and then there is my sweet little devil Cayden who just went outside and looking for ways to get dirty. Chase just yelled "hey butt head" through the office window. I think my hair is turning gray as I type. I just can't keep up with these two boys. Yesterday Chase gave them both new haircuts. I should have known they were being so quiet. Ok I better go I think I hear a hammer pounding, and Cayden just anouncing he pooped his pants, with no diaper.
